Chris and I have been married since 2016. He is the best part of me. I am only able to pursue making beautiful images because he encourages me to do it as my creative outlet.
Chris and I met through an organization called Young Life. We met at a summer camp and had the most awkward backpack hug goodbye that prolonged our love story to just being friend-zoned. We grew our friendship and knew if we started dating this couple be it! We got married and moved to downtown Frederick. We loved being newlyweds and living in the heart of the city. Also, super fun to be able to walk to restaurants and our church. After a year of pleading, we got our puppy: a golden doodle named Maple.
We adventured to Greece and during that time had an offer accepted on a house in lake lignanore. We were in the middle of the Athens airport when we read the e-mail! We have learned that we LOVE having a fixer upper. We love doing projects and making our house a home. My favorite part of our life is that we love hosting people. We think people deserve to have a place that feels safe and comfortable if their home doesn’t provide that.
Our sweet little family consists of:
Chris, myself, Annabelle (2), Carson (1) and our pup Maple.
After a year of living close to a lake and fixing up our home, we welcomed our little girl; Annabelle. She surprised us by being born with a very rare eye abnormality. She was diagnosed with Morning Glory disease at 4 months. She loves dancing and yelling “Mum!” She is a busy girl, and makes us laugh everyday!
Shortly after another surprise came, our boy Carson! He was born amongst a global pandemic and came into our world like a wrecking ball! We like to say he came out of the womb talking. He is crawling and trying to do everything his older sissy does. Our little family has embodied the phrase controlled chaos!
