A mutual friend once told Taylor, “I totally get why you and Katie Eckard get along so well, you both love your dogs so much!” The comment warmed my heart. Some of you know that I begged Chris for a whole year to get us a dog. I would send screenshots of puppy images constantly throughout the work days. (Spoiler alert: my harassing worked!) Taylor and Nate are absolutely smitten with their Bernese Doodle, Elsie. It is their fur-baby. This couple y’all are set apart. They love people so well. Jump at the chance to hang and host a game night. They love the outdoors. Fun fact about them is that they lived their first year of marriage in an airstream. How cool! I could never, but honestly envy those who can. Taylor spends summers taking trips abroad to bring her medical expertise to places in Africa. Nate took his first camp trip with Young Life for Frederick County this summer. High schoolers rave about spending time him. Who wouldn’t?? Nate and Taylor are the type of people you want to call your people. They are kind, fun, adventurous and intentional. We are so thankful they bought their first home in Urbana, Maryland!
